A Letter to APVA Families and Prospective Families

Dear APVA Families,

As we embark on our third season as an arts small learning community, we are thrilled about the new and exciting partnerships that have formed this year:

For the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, we have enriched our curriculum to include:

Musical Theater Programming: With the guidance and support of TADA! Youth Theater, our 9th, 11th, and 12th grade students will have the opportunity to hone their skills in performing and choreographing musical productions.

African Song and Drumming: We are delighted to partner with the Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation to incorporate this culturally enriching component into this year's Arts Festivals.

Playwriting Seminar: The 10th-grade acting class will receive a boost through engaging playwriting workshops.

We highly value the accessibility of the arts for our young adults, recognizing its potential to significantly impact their social development and equip them with essential lifelong skills, crucial for success in any 21st-century career.
